Cheaper backups would be nice, especially for our main server we just commissioned.
It would also be nice if the backups were a LVM snapshot, instead of a tar.gz.
We have had great success with squashfs backups of a LVM snapshot, id be happy to lend a hand with this since squashfs needs a minor alteration as it has a 8bit uid/gid limit.
