Default Domain name transfer

Hello, a client of mine has a domain name registered with Melbourne IT and would like to transfer it to your name servers, where the website is going to be hosted from now on.

Could you tell me do I need to change only the name servers to yours (and what are they) or should I do something to the DNS records as well?

Searching I found these two name servers:
nsdal01.crucial.com.au
nssyd01.crucial.com.au
but I'm not sure if they are the ones I should use.

The site sits on your server, named "s394" if that's of any help.

If all I need is to change the name servers to the ones above and wait the master whois database to change then it would be great.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi,

To point the domain name (hosted by MelbourneIT) you will need to login to MelbourneIT's control panel for managing the Domain Name and change the Name Servers to the ones we provided in the welcome email.

The name servers you mentioned are correct.

Note there is a delay when changing Name Servers, as the change has to propagate across the Internet. It can take anywhere from 1 hour to 24 hours.

Thank you.

Everything worked just fine after the name servers were updated to yours. I had to wait the normal 1-24 hours of the whole propagation process, but now it's just perfectly fine.
