Exclamation New Servers

Hi,

I got an email saying that there will be a new server.

We have made some changes to the name servers you would point your Domain Name too for the above listed services / plans. These changes have been implemeneted to increase redundancy, and is part of our plan to migrate away from the 203.x.x.x IP Addressing range.

Originally we had the following name servers available for you to point your Domain Name too,

nssyd01.crucial.com.au - 203.98.84.18
nsdal01.crucial.com.au - 67.208.112.62

To improve redundancy ! we have changed one of the existing name servers, and introduced a third name server. So as of this email the name servers are as follows,

nssyd01.crucial.com.au - 111.118.163.5
nsdal01.crucial.com.au - 67.208.112.62
nssyd02.crucial.com.au - 182.160.129.2

However, I am not sure how to make the above changes. Can someone let me know?

Secondly, I want to receive email via gmail. And it's asking to change the MX record. Can someone let me know how to do this as well.

Thank you.

Regards,

Devilius

Hi Devilius,

Unless you have a free account with us, you are more than welcome to contact our Tech Team for assistance.

The name server changes are completed with your domain registrar. For example you may have a hosting account for mydomain.com, so you have registered mydomain.com with a Domain Name registrar (or through us). Either way you should have access to a control panel from your registrar that allows you to update the name servers of your domain name.

In regards to your google query, I would suggest contacting Tech Support.

If you have a free account, I would suggest you goto google's website first, as they explain how to set your DNS / MX records to allow your domain to work with their google app services.
