Default Blackberry, iPhone or another smartphone?

The take up of the iPhone has been somewhat amazing and it's something only Apple could have pulled off. From people i've spoken to there seems to be a division of the phone's that staff are now using that can cause a nightmare for I.T helpdesk (blackberry and iphones). Close friends at Macquarie Bank have even hinted that they may be switching to iPhone only! So what do you use, what are you thoughts on this topic? Here at Crucial we addicted to our Crackberry 8310's and were itching to upgrade to the Bold

My company is using HTC Diamonds / HTC Touch Pro and HTC Fuze (850mhz capable Touch Pro).

I just changed over to the HTC Fuze yesterday to take advantage of the NextG network and it seems pretty smooth so far.

As long as I've got full sync with Exchange 2007 it's enough for me... we used to do a large amount of development for Windows Mobile but not so much nowdays.

Interesting question - lots of opinion around this topic.

I personally use an iPhone, but it has a lot of shortcomings that would stop me from using it as a work-based smart phone. I use it to pickup my Gmail account, but it is not push-compatible, so the mail is not received instantly and it does still have problems every now and then with crashing.

It really depends what you want from the smart phone I guess - not sure whether Macquarie will actually end up adopting the iPhone in place of the current Blackberries or not (just a rumour that I had heard!)
