Default Network issues - 24 Sep 10 ?

Hi there - I got several warnings from the hyperVM alert system from abotu 2:30am last night (AEST) indicating that there was no network connectivity to our server. Our server seemed to be up the entire time.

I've also had reports from outside users that they were unable to connect to our server.

Were there any network issues last night ?

Thanks.

Hi Dfinnie,

No report outages that we are aware of.

If you want to shoot an email through to feedback @ crucial.com.au I will be happy to take a further look, as maybe there was a hiccup with the particular node your VPS resides on.

Hi Ross,

No problems. I guess I'll keep an eye on it and see if it happens again. I'm happy to leave it for the moment if no one else was experiencing this.

Hi,

If at any point you believe there is an issue with the network as your clients or yourself might be having issues getting to your Service, we would request prior to contacting our tech Support you gather some information for us first.

We require Trace Route results, pings results and the most useful is what we call as WinMTR results.

WinMTR is a small windows application that does pings and traceroutes and combines it all together to provide some useful information. WinMTR website is here > WinMTR - 0.8

If running WinMTR on Windows Vista or 7, please right click and run the .exe as an Administrator.
