I think I have fallen in love with Outlook/Exchange....

For many a year I have been an avid user of the old Eudora mail client. Still use it even today, even on my windows 7 installs :P

But I am finding myself more and more inclined to use Outlook, particularly for the calendar functionality. We use windows based smart phones and find them great for easy of syncing and and network integration etc etc...

Anyways, as an exisiting customer, I dont suppose there would be any chance CrucialP would be considering introducing a product such as hosted exchange/hosted group exchange?

This is definitely something we are looking into, and we are likely to be offering Managed Exchange hosting in the near future

That I am! Can't beat the speed and reliability of Thunderbird with my hundreds of thousands of emails

Don't know about changing to outlook, will have to see what outlook 2010 has in store!

Thats Kind of how I feel about Eudora, but with all the Calendar functionality etc I find myself drifting towards outlook.....Outlook 2010 certainly does look good and there is a positive buzz around it.....

Whilst I understand that these things do take time, I hope the crucial roll out for such a product isnt too far away. Aside from my own smallish needs I have somone else querying with me about exchange hosting also.
And I like Crucial and would prefer to not go anywhere else, Price wise though Im guessing it will be hard to compete with T-Suite.

We have something in the works which shouldn't be too far off, keep a look out for it.

While we might not be able to completely compete with T-Suite prices, we will get close to them. T-Suite appears to be reselling Microsoft's Online offering (which appears to be based overseas, and not in Australia).

Yep, the MS servers are in Singapore. I use a hosted Exchange service at the moment and have never had a problem.

I love the Mac Mail application and the iPhone Mail application. They both sync so well with Microsoft Exchange and support Push mail. Your contacts and calendar will all be in sync. (MobileMe is a good alternative).

The project is progressing along nicely. No exact e.t.a just yet, but we are hoping to have something ready in the next few months.

As with all projects there is delays and unforseen issues, so we are just keeping our heads down and focusing on getting a solid hosted exchanged service ready to go!
