Well, here I am CP !

I've signed up for your R2 plan, received and paid the invoice and I'm now awaiting the set up completion.

I'd like to thank Aaron for his excellent help during my phone call and answering all my questions about moving all my sites over from my current US provider.....

So far, I can only say the whole experience has been 1st class.

Looking forward to working with you and hopefully continuing what on first impressions has been very very good.

Yes, thanks a few teething issues, but nothing serious.

Overall, good job so far.

A couple of questions:

1) Is your ticketing support based offshore (outside AU - perhaps India or Philippines ?) That would explain the wonderfully varied tech names!

2) RE phone support - Can I recommend that you trim the ever-lasting phone message ? Surely a more succinct greeting would be better for everyone? I am assuming that the call doesn't get answered until the message is complete (I've not experienced an answered call half-way through that message) - which means a wait of between 1 and 2 minutes....? Or perhaps you are doing this to dissuade the use of phone support ? Curious!

Our actual Support Desk system runs from our US infrastructure (High Traffic Web Hosting | Dedicated Hosting | Dedicated Servers | Web Hosting | Reseller Hosting | Managed Hosting | Remote Backup Storage | Server Security // Crucial Paradigm), however the Team that is responding to you is based in India.

If you call our Support line you will get someone from the Sydney Office.

We have found the extra information in the extended welcome msg on our phone system has helped people direct their queries to the correct area as well as provide valid information when their call is answered. Thanks for the feedback though.
