Both upload and download.

2) What is included in full VPS manage service?

3) Do you provide SSL, if required? I couldn't find about SSL in the add-on/option.

4) Can I add WHM/x at a later date?

5) How are the backup manage, offsite/tape/disk/etc?
Also, how quickly can the files reload/recover from backup?
Also, how does the backup works?
What is the data retention?
Can those data be encrypted if needed?

1) Just wondering what kind of speed can I expect from VPS?
Both upload and download.

Speed is dependent on the VPS plan that you choose, the higher the plan the higher the throttle rate, which plan were you interested in?

2) What is included in full VPS manage service?

As standard our Virtual Servers are self-managed so you are responsible for maintaining and administering the server. Our management plans give you access to our 24x7 email support and business hours phone support as well as access to our Sys admins who can perform patches, updates etc to your server. Our Management plan is designed for people who do not have the skills or the time to look after their server.

3) Do you provide SSL, if required? I couldn't find about SSL in the add-on/option.

Yes we can provide you with an SSL, you can view and purchase an SSL here - Crucial Paradigm Web Solutions

4) Can I add WHM/x at a later date?

Yes you can however you will need to rebuild your VPS from scratch to install cPanel.

5) How are the backup manage, offsite/tape/disk/etc?
Also, how quickly can the files reload/recover from backup?
Also, how does the backup works?
What is the data retention?
Can those data be encrypted if needed?

Backups are to a NFS server onsite, they are taken ever 3 days and are for disaster recovery purposes only. We are currently working on an R1 Soft CDP backup solution which will provide you with the file based restoration as well as encryption however the solution is still a couple months away for our Linux VPS but we are trying to fast track it's deployment.

ATM, I am interested in cloud1024.

In this case, the box will be patched with up to dates, depending on what the packages are installed?

This back up is same as complete backup-1024 $25 per month for cloud1024?
I just need to clarify it though.
Also, with R1, CDP, when deployed, can we still download the instead of restoring it to the original location as well.

If you choose a Self Managed VPS it will be patched to a certain point, that may not necessarily be the latest point. If you choose Full management we can update your VPS Operating System to the very latest patch point.

Yes you will need an additional IP if you wish to install an SSL Certificate.

If you choose the Cloud 1024 Plan and want Backups you would need to choose the equivalent Backup Plan which in this case is VPS 1024 Backups.

Yes I believe once we implement the R1Soft solutions there will be a download function to download the Backups.
