Hi Everyone,

In order to continue providing our same high level of service we will be adding a new bandwidth supplier (NTT) to our network. This will significantly improve our connectivity in Asia, USA, and within Australia.

MAINTENANCE WINDOW: Tuesday 1st November 2011 12:00AM -> 2:00AM AEST +11 GMT
EXPECTED OUTAGE/DOWNTIME: Possibility of multiple periods of complete loss of connectivity lasting up to 15 minutes each. Though we plan for no outage, and only periods of sub optimal routing.
REASON FOR MAINTENANCE: Addition of a new bandwidth supplier (NTT) on our Australian network. NTT has one of the largest global networks worldwide, and adds signficantly improved routes to Asia, USA, and within Australia.
SERVICES IMPACTED: During the maintenance window your hosting service may not be accessible from the internet. All Australian hosting customers will be effected by this maintenance.
OTHER NOTES: During this time, our Support Desk (https://support.crucialp.com) will be available should you still need to liaise with our Support staff.

Any Customers that are running trading applications on their VPS Service's such as Meta Trader should halt all trading prior to this maintenance window starting. You may re-instate your trading once you have full access to your service after the maintenance window has completed.

Hi Everyone,

This maintenance has been completed successfully with no downtime. We now have NTT live which gives us improved global & domestic routes, as well as redundant IPv6 connectivity.
