Vocus sent the following notification over the weekend period,

End Date: Saturday 4th September 2010, 20:31 AEST (UTC +10); 22:31 NZST (UTC +12)


Vocus Monitoring notified the Network Operations Centre of a linecard in San Jose in a faulty state producing CRC errors. Some customers may have noticed some packet loss in the USA during the above period. Once the card was restarted, normal service was restored. There will be a future planned outage to swap out this faulty card, a new maintenance advice will be sent advising of this.
