Vocus Hazard Notification - 28th September

Vocus have sent the following notification,

Start Date: Tuesday 28th September 2010; 03:00 AEST (UTC +10), 05:00 NZST (UTC +12) End Date: Tuesday 28th September 2010; 05:00 AEST (UTC +10), 07:00 NZST (UTC +12)

Due to an alarm condition at Alexandria, The Southern Cross Cable Network will be performing a card replacement. This replacement is expected to take less than 10 minutes. As Vocus' circuits have protection on this path, there will be a 50 msec protection switch, plus loss of protection whilst the maintenance takes place. Other than the protection switch, we do not anticipate any impact to customer services.
