MAINTENANCE WINDOW: Wednesday 22nd September, 2010 09:00pm - 06:00am AEST
EXPECTED OUTAGE/DOWNTIME: 20 minutes
REASON FOR MAINTENANCE: To facilitate a kernel upgrade in the server to counter a recent vulnerability discovered in Linux kernels.
SERVICES IMPACTED: All VPS servers will be unavailable during maintenance.

Hi Everyone,

Just a little note regarding this maintenance window.

As we apply the upgrade we will need to check each VPS to make sure it's updated also.

As a result any VPS's with IPTABLES or a Private IP will take a bit longer to bring back online.

If you are in one of these boats, please allow some extra time for our Tech's to work through the necessary changes to get your VPS's updated and running.

A slight update, downtime may be a little more than 20 minutes for some users, and up to 90 minutes.

This is due to extra configuration changes required after the new kernel update.
