Scheduled Maintenance: Linux VPS Nodes (s413, s445, s367, s451) - 28th July 2011

Hi Everyone,

We have scheduled the following maintenance. This will also be emailed to affected Customers.

In order to continue providing our same high level of service we will be migrating the physical node that houses your VPS hosting service. This is part of the planned Data Center migration as detailed here, Announcement: Upcoming Infrastructure Improvements

MAINTENANCE WINDOW: Thursday 28th July 2011 12:00AM - 6:00AM AEST
EXPECTED OUTAGE/DOWNTIME: 6 Hours
REASON FOR MAINTENANCE: Migration of the physical server to the new SY3 Equinix Datacenter Facility.
SERVICES IMPACTED: During this physical migration your VPS service will be shutdown. Your VPS will be completely offline and inaccessible. Any websites / email / control panel access / other functions relating to your VPS will be down during this migration period.

IP Addressing for your VPS Service will NOT change.

Any Customers running the R1Soft Backup solution should login to the R1Soft Control Panel and ensure they have a recent backup and we also recommend you perform your own backup.

Customers who do not use our R1Soft Backup solution, please as a precaution take a backup of your data.

Hi Everyone,

This maintenance window has been completed.

All affected Linux VPS's have been started back up.

Some VPS's are performing FSCK's (File System Checks) which is due to not being rebooted in 180 days.
