Scheduled Maintenance: Windows VPS Nodes (s467.au.crucialx.net) - 22nd August 2011

Hi Everyone,

We have scheduled the following maintenance. This will also be emailed to affected Customers.

In order to continue providing our same high level of service we will be migrating the physical node that houses your VPS hosting service. This is part of the planned Data Center migration as detailed here, Announcement: Upcoming Infrastructure Improvements

MAINTENANCE WINDOW: Monday 22nd August 2011 12:00AM - 6:00AM AEST
EXPECTED OUTAGE/DOWNTIME: 6 Hours
REASON FOR MAINTENANCE: Migration of the physical server to the new SY3 Equinix Datacenter Facility.
SERVICES IMPACTED: During this physical migration your VPS service will be shutdown. Your VPS will be completely offline and inaccessible. Any websites / email / control panel access / other functions relating to your VPS will be down during this migration period.

Notice - Though we have scheduled a 6 Hour Window, the average downtime per service is around 2 Hours. As this is a physical relocation, we have extended the window to account for unforseen delays in transit.

IP Addressing for your VPS Service will NOT change.

Any Customers that are running trading applications on their VPS Service's such as Meta Trader should halt all trading prior to this maintenance window starting. You may re-instate your trading once you have full access to your service after the maintenance window has completed.

Any Customers running the R1Soft Backup solution should login to the R1Soft Control Panel and ensure they have a recent backup and we also recommend you take a copy of your most critical data.

Customers who do not use our R1Soft Backup solution, please as a precaution take a backup of your data.
