Hi Everyone,

We have scheduled the following maintenance. This will also be emailed to affected Customers.

In order to continue providing our same high level of service we will be migrating our core routers to the new Equinix SY3 datacenter. This is part of the planned Data Center migration as detailed here, Announcement: Announcement: Upcoming Infrastructure Improvements

MAINTENANCE WINDOW: Wednesday 17th August 2011 11:00PM -> 18/Aug/2011 5:00AM AEST
EXPECTED OUTAGE/DOWNTIME: Multiple periods of complete loss of connectivity lasting up to 30 minutes each. Though we have planned for much shorter periods.
REASON FOR MAINTENANCE: Physical migration of our redundant core routers from Equinix SY2 to the new Equinix SY3 facility. One router will be migrated at a time so as to minimise downtime to our network, with only small outages expected while connectivity is failed over between the routers.
SERVICES IMPACTED: During the maintenance window your hosting service may not be accessible from the internet.
OTHER NOTES: During this time, our Support Desk (http://support.crucialp.com) will be available should you still need to liaise with our Support staff.

Any Customers that are running trading applications on their VPS Service's such as Meta Trader should halt all trading prior to this maintenance window starting. You may re-instate your trading once you have full access to your service after the maintenance window has completed.

This maintenance has been completed successfully, with our core routers having now been migrated to SY3. A few users may have experienced 3-10 minutes of packetloss during this maintenance, while traffic failed over between the routers.
