Vocus Hazard Notification - SCCN Card Replacement - 8th September 2011

Vocus have sent out the following hazard notification,

Start Date: Thursday 8th September 2011, 03:00 AEST (UTC +10); 05:00 NZST (UTC +12) End Date: Thursday 8th September 2011, 05:00 AEST (UTC +10); 07:00 NZST (UTC +12)


Due to a fault on a card, the Southern Cross Cable Network will be performing a replacement on Segment F3 (Hillsboro to Nedonna) during the above window. The replacement is expected to take up to 20 minutes. As Vocus' circuits have protection on this path, there will be a 50 msec protection switch, plus loss of protection whilst the maintenance takes place. Other than the protection switch, we do not anticipate any impact to customer services. This is a hazard notification only
