Vocus Hazard Notification - SCCN Card Replacement - 23rd September 2011

Vocus have sent out the following hazard notification,

Start Date: Friday 23rd September 2011, 03:00 AEST (UTC +10); 05:00 NZST (UTC +12) End Date: Friday 23rd September 2011, 05:00 AEST (UTC +10); 07:00 NZST (UTC +12)


Due to a fault on a card, the Southern Cross Cable Network will be performing an investigation and card replacement on Segment E1 (Morro Bay to San Jose) during the above window. The replacement is expected to take up to 15 minutes. As Vocus' circuits have protection on this path, there will be a 50 msec protection switch, plus loss of protection whilst the maintenance takes place. Other than the protection switch, we do not anticipate any impact to customer services.
