Default New HA reseller hosting

I am currently on the old "Reseller Hosting - Linux - Crucial R2" plan.

Other than the change to storage/bandwidth limits what are the major changes with the new HA plans (HA seems to be used a lot these days) Or are all the old plans running on the new hardware?

If I change will my allocated IPs remain the same?

Thanks
Nathan

Hi Cybercomp,

The HA Reseller Plan's sit on our brand new Blade and SAN Setup, as appose the old plans which reside on single separate servers. That is the main advantage of shifting to the HA Reseller Plans is the increased redundancy.

Further with our HA Reseller Plans we use a Clustered DNS setup as appose to the current Reseller node setup, which has separate name servers for each Reseller Server.

There will be IP Address changes and file migrations required to move over to the new HA Reseller Plans.

Hi Cybercomp,

Yes the clustered DNS does include a member in the US. It's hosted with our US Division.

excellent.. I am keen to move across but will have to plan it carefully.

What's the best way to do this? Should I submit a ticket to get some assistance with the info I need for planning and to work out a time to make the change?

hi Cybercomp,

I would suggest shooting our Sales Team an email first, they will assist with the plan change / pricing etc. Then once that is resolved, you can chat with the Sales Team about migrating.
