Hi Scott,

I've taken a screenshot from the admin side of WHM so you can see the reason why we do not enable this feature. WHM/cPanel clearly recommends not enabling this feature as by editing a package it will allow you to circumvent the reseller resources assigned to your account.

Hope this clears up any confusion.

The way I read that is that it allows you to edit the resource in question of an assigned package/account, not go over that of the reseller account itself as you are suggesting...

When I try and test this, I'm not able to go beyond the disk space or bandwidth assigned to the reseller account as the following error results:

"Setting Quota...Sorry you cannot modify this account because doing so would excceed your alloted Disk Space: You only have 1600 Megabytes remaining, and this account modification requires 2000 Megabytes. "

Please Aaron, I'd really like you to take a closer look at this feature as it would appear to be some what standard on many other hosts and would not create any issues or violation of your services...
