Default Will someone please explain what's going on with backups?

I have been checking the backups on my VPS via HyperVM. The last three backups are on the 17th, 19th and 21st.

Issues/questions:

1. They're not daily. Why?
2. It's now the 24th, what has been happening since the 21st?
3. This has happened twice before and the response I've received previously is that it will update eventually. Eventually doesn't work for me particularly as the last time I was told that, the backups turned out to be broken AND I don't want to wait days for them to update if I need to restore something now.

I'm not even p***ed off, I'm just confused. If I have the wrong expectations then I'm happy to have them adjusted. I just thought that I was paying for daily backups not 'whenever' backups

Any clarity on this stiruation would be appreciated.

Thanks!
A.

Thanks Ijan. They're definitely not working. Still the 21st as the last backup now the 25th.

And they're still broken despite the 'urgent' ticket. Should I be looking at a third party option? Backups are kinda critical and it's a PITA doing it myself when I'm paying for backups to be done. Last backup still 21/12.

Ticket TWS-113395

BAckups seem to be random rather than regular. last three are the 7th, 9th and 11th. Out of date again.
