Hey guys
I've got about 20 or so cpanel accounts that I run under a reseller account so I can switch between them easily without logging in every time. The problem is that at the top of my 'switch account' menu are the usernames for accounts which I've created but then deleted for one reason or another. The proper accounts show up with the domain name, and then the username in brackets - but these rogue entries just show up with the old deleted username in brackets. If I select them it thinks about it for a second and then goes back to my main account. I can't find any info on why this might be happening and I can't seem to get rid of them. I deleted the references to the old accounts in the etc/userplans and etc/userdomains files, I've tried running the rebuildcpusers script, but yet they persist. I even tried grep'ing the text in all files for these old usernames but it seemed to be too much for it to search. I've poked around in the WHM reseller centre, the DNS zones and other places looking for anything to do with these old accounts, but I can't see anything at all. I'm pretty sure it's probably a file somewhere that I just need to pico and delete the bad entries, but I'm struggling to find them whilst wading around in SSH. Any suggestions/clues/ideas? I thought I'd ask it in the forum in case someone else googles it one day! Last edited by jbngar; 14-10-2010 at 11:50 AM. |
