folder permissions on temporary site

Hi Guys,
trying to execute a file upload in asp.net

I've assigned the appropriate permissions to the folders required but am getting the following coming back in my exception reporting email..

An Exception Occurred
Access to the path 'C:\Inetpub\vhosts\<INSERT DOMAIN NAME HERE>.com.au\httpdocs\$sitepreview\<INSERT DOMAIN NAME HERE>.com.au\images\entries\' is denied.

is this because the domain hasn't propogated and assigning folder permissions while in this temporary site preview mode doesn't work??

or am i missing something!!
