Hi all,
I'd like to install zencart and joomla on my site - no one wants the pain of building content into zen cart - best leave it to what it's good at. I installed zen cart to a subdirectory "/store" (I install zencart first) with the intention that joomla would be available at the root of the site. Fantastico comes back with an error when I subsequently try to install joomla: Following filenames already exist in the main directory of the domain brendanheyu.wranga.com.au (path="/home/brendanh/public_html/").You must manually remove these files before proceedingSo - should I delete this directory? I realise it will delete my zencart store and I will have to recreate it - but what about all the vti_* directories? Thanks all! Brendan |

I realize that this thread is quite old.
Being a longtime member on the Zen Cart forum (user name frank18) and a dedicated supporter of Zen Cart I would like to advise anyone attempting to do the same (install Joomla AND zencart) to install the main site first into root (most likely Joomla) and *then* install Zen Cart into a subdirectory/domain. Saves a lot of headaches. |
