Default Problems deleting a folder! [Drupal]

To those who can help!

I recently install drupal inside public_html folder. To cut a long story short, I decided to remove it completely from the public_html dir (including all of its databases).

Anyways, I have a folder called 'sites' which CANNOT be delete even with file permission set to '777'. It keeps on reoccuring after deletion! How do I remove this folder as I'm trying to install a clean WP.

Is there any function/link I can press to complete clean my accounts cache and reset all its 'factory' settings?

Also, I delete the files through 'file manager'.

Hi Damlazy,

There is no "Reset" account feature unfortunately.

Ensure you set the folder as well as the files under the folder to 777 permissions.

If you are still having issues, you can try to install Drupal to different directory.

Let us know how you go.

Thanks Ross on the reply.

The problem lies when I delete the folder (under 777 permissions), it magically reappears (including the .php pages inside) once I hit refresh button. It's as if it can't be delete.

Are you able to have staff look at this, as it could be a glitch within my account.

Regards,
David
