It has to be asked. How can Crucial cope with the issues DistrubiteIT have faced this week.

I'm sure you feel you have it covered but apparently so did they.

I'm not asking to cause a stir but its worth an ask!

Thanks for contacting us on the Crucial Forum!

Our Backup and recovery plan does vary depending on what particular Hosting Service you have.

With our Shared and Reseller hosting we take backups using the hosting platform, such as cPanel / Plesk. We also take full server backups using the R1Soft Backup Solution, which is an enterprise grade backup option.

Things are slightly different for our VPS (Windows + Linux) hosting solutions. We offer a Backup feature which uses the R1Soft Backup solution so a Customer can have their VPS entirely backed up to our Backup servers. However they would need to purchase this option. We backup the host node's that run the VPS environment.

We also have backups for all our internal setups, but I will not go into detail on this.
