If you ordered a blank VPS, then chances are these are not installed and you will need to manually install these items. Webmin can make it easier to install these items. If you plan on running webhosting on the server, and what an easy to use control panel to setup the hosting accounts then cPanel is highly recommended.

There are a number of FTP servers you can use, a quick search on google brought up a few results: installing and configuring pureftpd - Google Search

.. download complete.
The following modules have been successfully installed and added to your access control list :

ProFTPD Server in /usr/libexec/webmin/proftpd (1056 kB) under category Servers

--

The ProFTPD server /usr/bin/proftpd could not be found on your system. Maybe it is not installed, or your module configuration is incorrect.

The ProFTPd package can be automatically installed by Webmin. Click here to have it downloaded and installed using YUM.

---

Installing package(s) with command yum -y install proftpd ..

Loading "installonlyn" plugin
Setting up Install Process
Setting up repositories
Reading repository metadata in from local files
Parsing package install arguments
Nothing to do
.. install complete.

I'd recommend installing pureftpd, its much more light weight than proftpd.

I'm not too familiar with webmin, so can't help you on that one. Based on the error message looks like you might need to upgrade webmin, however according to webmin's site there is no version 1.500.

You may want to look at installing pureftpd from the command line. If you are not familiar with the command line then you can purchase Full Management from us, and have our technicians do the installation for you.
