Ventrilo Server

Hi,

I was wondering if I was allowed to install a Ventrilo server on my Cloud VPS server?

I have done research and the server running in a CHrooted environment is perfectly safe, also with the server being password protected there would be no bots able to connect to the server (thats if bots even exist for Ventrilo which as far as I know they don't).

The Ventrilo server also uses very little bandwidth using an average of 5kb/s per user and as there would be a max of around 6 users on at a time that shouldn't be an issue.

Any response would be appreciated asap because I would rather set one up on my VPS if it's allowed rather than have to purchase a Ventrilo hosting plan from another company.

Hi Elpho,

I don't see any reason why you shouldn't be able to run a Ventrilo server on our Cloud VPS plans. You are more than welcome to give it a try!
